CIS Manager (work in Farmington, MI and at various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S./multiple openings) Evaluate data processing project proposals and assess project feasibility; prepare and review operational reports or project progress reports; develop performance standards and evaluate work in light of established standards; consult with users, management vendors and technicians to determine computing needs and system requirements; analyze workflow and assign or schedule work to meet priorities and goals; meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems; direct daily operations of department and coordinate project activities with other departments; participate in staffing decisions; direct training of subordinates; and use SQL, UNIX and Oracle.

Requires Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Science or its foreign educational equivalent plus 6 months experience in the job offered or 6 months experience in an alternate occupation as a Programmer Analyst, System Analyst or Application DBA. Will accept any equally suitable combination of education, training and/or experience which would qualify an applicant to perform the duties of the job offered.
